Biography
Dr. Johnson is a Dallas native and graduated from Southern Methodist University. She obtained her medical degree from Dartmouth Medical School and subsequently completed a Family Medicine residency at the Mountain Area Health Education Center in Asheville, NC. She then returned to Dallas and worked in urgent care and in a local house call practice. This experience led her to pursue additional training, and she completed a fellowship in Geriatric Medicine at UT Southwestern. Dr. Johnson currently practices Geriatric Medicine at the Mildred Wyatt & Ivor P. Wold Geriatric Care Center. She enjoys teaching the ambulatory care of older adults to trainees. Dr. Johnson is board-certified in Family Medicine and Geriatric Medicine. Outside of work, she spends time with her two sons and four dogs. She loves to watch movies and read mysteries (when not wrangling her boys and dogs).
