Biography

Piyush Nathani, M.D. is an Assistant Instructor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center and Chief Medical Resident in their Division of Education.

Dr. Nathani is originally from India. He received his medical degree from All India Institute of Medical Sciences. He moved to Dallas to pursue residency in Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He stayed on in the program as a chief resident overseeing close to 200 residents.

He enjoys resident education, resident recruitment and coordinating resident schedules. His clinical interest includes Non-Alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), cirrhosis, and Hepatocellular Carcinoma (HCC).
