Biography
Dr. Jones is a native Texan and is proud to be at UTSW serving the people of Texas. She completed her undergraduate degree at Duke University, double majoring in Biology and Religion, her medical degree at UTSW, internal medicine residency at Duke University, and her hematology and medical oncology fellowship at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, where she served as chief fellow for quality improvement and education. She currently specializes in in the medical treatment of sarcoma, melanoma, and gastrointestinal malignancies. She has a passion for medical education and physician wellness, clinical quality improvement, and providing access to clinical trials and novel therapies to all cancer patients. Outside of medicine, she stays busy keeping up with two daughters and a husband who are always looking for the next adventure.
